Tulsi Kumar launches own music album

Mumbai: Tulsi Kumar, daughter of the late Gulshan Kumar, is now coming out with her maiden solo album. Kumar has lent her voice to films like Kajraare and Karzzzz.

The music recording of the album with Monty Sharma saw music makers like Himesh Reshammiya, Sameer, Pritam, Anu Malik and Shaan, besides T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar and creative director Divya Khosla Kumar.

"The album has a set of interesting songs – a  peppy romantic album complete with a hip hop dance number, a sufi one, a Punjabi song —  with all flavours on the romantic lines. The album brings to the fore the versatility of the singer. And Tulsi lends to the album the freshness of the voice that will be one of the strong points of the album," says Khosla Kumar.

Added Anu Malik who gave Tulsi her break in Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, "Tulsi has music in her veins… She works hard on every song and does riyaz everyday. And this reflects in her voice and her songs."
