MUMBAI: Bollywood hunk John Abraham was spotted at a charity function recently, where he revealed he charges as much money for a film as he thinks he deserves.

Celebrating ‘World Wish Day’ with children from the NGO ‘Make-A-Wish’ Foundation, John revealed that he doesn’t believe money is important, and believes in charity work.

On being questioned about the reports suggesting he has charged Rs 15 crore for ‘Welcome Back’, the sequel to ‘Welcome’, John categorically stated: “As far as money is concerned, I don’t talk about money at all as I think it’s not as important. I charge because I think I deserve it. But I give it to charity because I think that’s more important.”

Charitable star that he is, John also fulfilled a teenager’s wish by gifting her a princess dress and tiara, designed by none other than Bollywood’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra. Dressed in a navy blue shirt and light grey slacks, the superstar also revealed that he is pumped for his upcoming release, ‘Shootout at Wadala’.

The film, which stars Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee, with special item songs by Sunny Leone and Priyanka Chopra, is all set to hit the marquee on 3 May, the day Indian cinema completes 100 years!
