In ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’, Imran Khan is dabbling with the action genre. Although he has done action in ‘Luck’ and ‘Kidnap’, it’s still a relatively newer genre for Imran Khan who is known for his chocolate boy roles in films like ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’.

For director Milan Luthria’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’, Imran Khan had to do a stunt which could be his toughest yet. Remember Aamir Khan’s dangerous stunt in ‘Ghulam’ where he runs towards an oncoming train? Imran Khan has done something similar.

A source says, “Yes, there is a scene in the film where he jumps onto the tracks in front of a moving train. It was quite a dangerous stunt and required impeccable timing. Imran refused to take a stuntman and did the scene himself. Although the action team made sure that all precautions were taken, the risk factor could not be discounted. A moment gone wrong could have endangered Imran’s life.”

Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, the producer of the film said, “Imran has performed the action sequences exceptionally well. The film has made him a full-fledged romantic-action hero.”

‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ releases on 15 August, 2013 and stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan.
