[imagebrowser id=246] MUMBAI: It was a night to remember… Once-upon-a-time friends and then deadly foes, Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were within the same closed confined space, for Abhinav and Ashima Shukla’s wedding reception.
Onlookers were stunned to see the frenemies- Salman and Shah Rukh, spotted under one roof, for this very starry wedding reception. What made the face-off even more interesting is that the two superstars actually came face-to-face at the reception. The megastars were spotted at the same venue: at the same time!
We have always known how much care the warring Khans usually take, to avoid coming face-to-face. An intricate system of precision timing goes into ensuring that the twain shall never meet, but this time either the timing was off, or the two decided to let bygones be bygones; and be spotted at the same time, at the same event.
This could perhaps be a first step in burying the hatchet, as it were…
Salman ‘Tiger’ Khan showed up with his brother Sohail (wearing an amusing ‘Being Dabangg’ Tee), to grace the occasion and bless the happy couple. In a grey suit, the man looked uber dashing and somehow menacing, as he bared his proverbial tiger claws at all and sundry.
In contrast, Shah Rukh Khan chose a sharply designed natty black suit, and gelled his hair back befitting the formal occasion. He was seen interacting with the other guests at the venue, including Sahara Parivaar chief Subroto Roy.
Also present at the wedding reception was Madhuri Dixit with husband Dr. Sriram Nene, both looking adorable as the Bollywood power couple.
Ameesha Patel, Viveik Oberoi, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Sania Mirza, Preity Zinta, Karisma Kapoor, Anu Mallik and the usually reclusive Rekha were photographed at this star-studded wedding.
