Shah Rukh Khan Fed Up Of The ‘Salman Khan’ Question
MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is mighty upset. The actor gets miffed and is fed up each time he is asked about the alleged “patch-up” with arch-rival Salman Khan.
The two reigning superstars had a spat more than 4 years ago at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. Since then, a lot has been said and written about the reason for their fracas, and whether the two would ever make up.
However, Shah Rukh Khan has recently expressed his irritation at being repeatedly asked “The Salman Question”. He recently dismissed reports of a “patch up” between him and ‘Dabangg’ star Salman Khan.
Said the irate superstar, “Bachpan se poochte aa rahe ho yeh sawal…Ab toh bade ho jaoo (Please grow up…You people have always been asking this question),” Shah Rukh spat back when asked whether the enmity between Salman and himself has finally ended. He even called it a very “boring question” and is sick of answering such questions at every event.
The speculation of their alleged reconciliation started doing the rounds when Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir attended the premiere of late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The trio also attended the after- party of the film.
Further fuel was added to the fire when mega-star Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted: “Danced my shoes off with all the youngsters…An amazing evening…Spending time with Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka.”
When quizzed about Big B’s tweet, Shah Rukh said, “If Amitji has tweeted it then you all ask him when you meet him in a press conference. There is no patch up or XYZ. Even I read about it in newspapers. Whatever is written in your newspaper please don’t believe it.”
On a more positive note though, the usually level-headed superstar is elated about the news of his film doing extremely well and entering the 100-crore club.
“I am happy that the film has earned Rs 100 crore worldwide. It is wonderful that the film is doing great. There were some issues in between despite that the film has worked. This film is very special to Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and me,” Shah Rukh said.
