MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan, going all out to promote his film ‘Chennai Express’, decided to take a break from trains, in favour of a fancy sports car instead!
After a hectic, comprehensive press meet for ‘Chennai Express’, SRK decided to embark on a quick spin, with his co-star Deepika Padukone in tow. The two have always shared a warm camaraderie, so it’s no surprise to see their off-screen chemistry crackle as well.
The dimpled superstar was reportedly smitten by the flashy car driven by T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, and he couldn’t resist asking him permission to take it for a spin. Deepika too decided to test drive the fancy, expensive sports car, by seating herself firmly beside SRK.
The two reportedly drove around Film city for nearly a quarter of an hour.
A source candidly revealed: “They were gone for a good 15 minutes. Shah Rukh loved riding Bhushan’s car.”
Bhushan Kumar smiled and said that he did indeed indulge SRK. “Yes, this did happen. Anything for Shah Rukh. He is a dear friend.”
