MUMBAI: Bollywood star Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, ‘Son Of Sardaar’s promotions are on in full swing. Devgn is leaving no stone unturned while promoting his latest comic caper.

At a recently held press meet in the posh suburb of Juhu, Mumbai, Devgn and his team turned out in full support of the film.

Devgn being the film’s producer, even roped in quite a few real life heroes from the ‘Sardaar’ community, to drive home the message of the film. The real life sardaars were seen at the press con, posing with the film’s hero. They even posed with legendary Sikh instruments like a ‘talwaar’ and ‘kirpan’; implements that are synonymous with the brave-hearted Sikh community.

Ajay is playing the role of a Sardaar in the film, and their marketing tagline has now become, ‘Diwali bekaar bina Son of Sardaar’, meaning to say your Diwali would be incomplete if you missed this film.

Ajay himself is a Punjabi, and was keen to make this film basing his character on a brave, honest member of the Sikh religion. He has previously maintained that he is very fond of the people of the Sardar community, and has tremendous respect for these brave individuals.

The film is directed by Ashwani Dhir and releases on 13th November, Diwali day.
