MUMBAI: Looks like things between Ekta Kapoor and Imran Khan post the alleged fallout has got uglier. We reported yesterday that Imran Khan and Ekta Kapoor have parted ways and the actor stated that he doesn’t want to work with Balaji Motion Pictures anymore. (Read STORY)
The blame game between the actor and producer continues as Imran and Ekta continue to take digs at each other.
“When you have hits, people cosy up, when you have flops, they pull you down. I find it amusing. This is industry in unbelievable,” says Ekta Kapoor who retaliated to Imran Khan not agreeing to her aggressive ways.
Imran Khan wasn’t quite pleased with ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara’s’ promotional strategy that has resulted in the fall out.
Imran Khan on the contrary has said, “I don’t want to say anything bad publicly. Jeetuji (Jeetendra) has known our family for years. So out of respect for Jeetuji, I won’t say anything about this. I don’t want to be disrespectful towards anyone.”
Ekta Kapoor also said she had a great time working with Akshay Kumar and Milan Luthria with whom she has worked on ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, and ‘The Dirty Picture’ and now ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara’.
“There are always going to be some bad experience, but you have to live with them. We are not in the business of saving lives”, says an agitated Ekta Kapoor.
On replacing Imran with Shahid Kapoor she says, “Milan Talkies requires a certain aggression and push. I am not commenting on any actor; I find it embarrassing to discuss that. Milan Talkies is the hottest film on our plate now.”
There has been buzz that Imran’s good luck to Shahid Kapoor has a sarcastic meaning to it. “I simply wished a co-actor good luck”, says Imran Khan.
With the blame game on, wonder who is in to say a Sorry first! At this moment seems like no one!
