With the year drawing to a close, and many powerful films which touched our hearts this year – Bollywood made us laugh, cry, dance and love. Come 2013, the industry is all set to offer some of the best movies ever. 2013 will have even more powerful, inspirational films that are just waiting to wow us.

5. Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2: At number 5 is ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2’ the sequel of the blockbuster hit in 2010. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead along with actors Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre, directed by Milan Luthria. Akshay Kumar will play the role of underworld don, (played by Emraan Hashmi in part 1 of the movie). Imran Khan is as the second male lead and Sonakshi Sinha will portray the role of the gangster’s mole. The movie is expected to hit the silver screen on August 8, 2013, on Eid.

4. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: Produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, this movie will star Farhan Akhtar in the protagonist’s role with his completely transformed body. Real life athlete Milkha Singh has sold his story for just a rupee. The name of the movie comes from the last words spoken by his father, during the riots of Partition of India. Milkha lost his family members during the partition. The Flying Sikh represented India in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome and the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. A movie with such a strong back story is definitely making its way to be a Blockbuster Hit which is scheduled to release on July 12, 2013.

Dhoom 3: Back in Action: After being successful at the box office with Dhoom 1 and 2 Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 3 has Aamir Khan in a negative role while Abhishek and Uday Chopra reprise their characters of Jay and Ali respectively. The project is an upcoming action-thriller film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Katrina Kaif will play the bad girl in the movie. The film is scheduled for a Christmas 2013 release.

2. Chennai Express: This most awaited film starring Shah Rukh Khan! Chennai Express is all set to be a romantic-action movie, where The King of Romance will, for the second time, be paired opposite Deepika Padukone after their blockbuter film ‘Om Shanti Om’. ‘Chennai Express’ is being written by Rohit Shetty, so in true Bollywood style, the film will have cars blowing and lots of action. It is a commercial film with a romantic angle and the story is about a man’s travel from Mumbai to Rameswaram and what happens during the journey. The movie will most likely release in October 2013

1. Krrish 3: After the success of ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Krrish’ this movie is just another trilogy in the making. It all started when alien Jaadu gave Rohit Mehra some special powers. His son Krrish, who inherited the same powers came to be known as a super hero. Both characters were played by Hrithik Roshan. The next superhero science fiction film to be released starring Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Shaurya Chauahan and Kangana Ranaut is going to be a children’s must watch in November 2013.
