vivek oberoi mainVivek Oberoi is on an upswing post the success of both Grand Masti and Krrish 3 and he is being extra careful about the kind of films he wants to do.

Vivek Oberoi has hit a rough patch post the release of Shootout At Wadala in the year 2007, but the two films of 2013 gave him a new lease of life in the Hindi film industry.

“I am being very careful in choosing the scripts now. I am looking at roles that I can enjoy and at the same time, are good for my career,” stated Vivek Oberoi who is very hopeful.

“I have reached a good position with god’s grace and now I hope to maintain it and move ahead. So, I will be choosing films keeping all this in mind, stated Vivek

Currently Vivek Oberoi is getting ready for Sanjay Gupta’s film Mumbai Saga. Mumbai Saga, will see Vivek playing a role of a cop, inspired by senior police inspector and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar who was gunned down while on duty during the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. He was then the head of the Anti-Extortion Cell and in 2009 was posthumously honoured with the Ashoka Chakra.

Vivek had earlier worked with Sanjay Gupta in Shootout At Lokhandwala, but their relationship soured when Vivek opted out of Shootout At Wadala but then they recently hugged and made up at a party.

“Vivek and Gupta had met at Gupta’s house to discuss the role. Vivek has loved his role. The modalities are being worked out.” stated a source close to the actor.

Mumbai Saga will reportedly go on floors on August 15, 2014. Here’s wishing both Vivek Oberoi and Sanjay Gupta all the best for the film and we do hope that they set the Box Office roaring with their film.
