The news was broken by the production team behind the film which is titled ‘Janatha Garage’. From what we hear there was a confusion whether the actor will be playing NTR’s father or uncle, and now it seems the answer is the latter.

‘Janatha Garage’ producers, Mythri Movie Makers released an official poster and said, “Here’s the BIG News! Like you all, we can’t wait to watch them together on the Big Screen in #NTR26!” Both Mohanlal and NTR Jr. are currently busy with their prior commitments and only time will tell when they start shooting together. According to the buzz Mohanlal‘s role as NTR’s uncle will be a very important and influential one, and even though the actor will not have elaborate screen space, his role is very crucial.

The film will be directed by Kortala Siva who is currently riding high on the success of his recent film ‘Srimanthudu’ starring Mahesh Babu. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in for the music of the film. Apparently there will be two lead actresses but nothing has been decided yet. Current speculations suggest actress Parineeti Chopra is being eyed to romance NTR Jr.

Both Mohanlal and NTR Jr. are thrilled about working together for the film and naturally the excitement among both the actors’ fan base will be beyond limits right now.
