Shashank Vyas talks about the incident when he was rejected by a girl for marriage.
TV actor Shashank Vyas, who had risen to fame with the Colors channel daily soap Balika Vadhu, is now known for his character of Ravish in Star Plus’ popular show Jaana Na Dil Se Door.
It came to us quite as a surprise when the actor himself revealed that he has once been rejected by a girl in an arranged marriage setup. Talking about the incident, the actor says, “I met this girl once and she was like ‘ask me whatever you want.’ I thought I should tell her everything about my life. So I told her that I work 13-14 hours a day and that there will also be times when I won’t have any work.”
The actor wanted the girl to understand the life of an actor and the difficulties that he has to face. Shashank adds on saying, “I wanted to show her all sides of being an actor. There was no further meeting after that, so clearly she didn’t say yes.”

The actor also informs about the change in his viewpoint on marrying a person from the same industry as he says, “I used to say that I will never marry someone from the industry. But now that I see Ravi (Dubey) and Sargun(Mehta), I feel that maybe actors find is easy to understand other actors. Life is full of surprises and I am open to this one.”
Shashank is not too keen on getting married anytime soon but his father is looking for a suitable girl for him as the actor says, “He (Shashank’s father) keeps meeting relatives for this and keeps talking about how needs to find a ladki for me. For me, age is not the only criteria. I am actor and I have a career graph, which I want to concentrate on.”
