The Television industry is experiencing unexpected exits since a couple of days. Just two months after Hina Khan left Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Sasural Simar Ka face, Dipika Kakar, makes an exit from her show. Sources say that she is serving the notice period to the production house. She also put in her papers a few months ago for the exit. She had planned to quit the show long back in 2014 but then decided to stay, revealed a source. Dipika Kakar is not willing to talk to the media about her exit and this one seems to be a final quit from the show.
This news is no less than a shock for Dipika’s fans as she always maintained herself such that she will actively play the role in the soap till it lasts. In fact, her popularity is such that people today recognise her by her character’s name as Simar. Although, she had been playing many supportive roles but it was the show that showered her with fame. Sasural Simar Ka is airing itself since 2011.
The show also had few jokes and memes on itself. The first one was when the show turned Simar into a fly after getting inspired by the film Makkhi. It also had a character that turned into a peacock to save her husband. Well! That’s not all, the show also copied the trailer of Game of Thrones.
The show also gave Dipika her love on the sets besides the fame that she got. Her beau Shoaib played Simar’s husband Prem and romancing each other on the screen bound them together offscreen too. The two have been together since three years now.
