Manish Paul has been a favourite with Colors as he has been associated with them for quite some time now. Manish has anchored two of their most popular reality shows; India’s Got Talent and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
But then as we all know, Manish shifted gears and took on Mad In India, on Star Plus which was suppose to give Comedy Nights With Kapil a run of its money. Now as we all know, Mad In India has fallen flat on his face and so has Sunil Grover who essays the character Chutki.
Now if reports are to be believed, then Manish Paul has quit Mad In India over creative differences, leaving the show’s main attraction Sunil Grover aka Chutki in the lurch.
Rumours had been doing the rounds for quite some time now that Manish Paul was thinking of leaving the show even though the host had denied that being the case. But now, he’s finally stepped out, thus informs our source.
Also we have been given to understand by out source that Manish Paul had a twenty sis episode contract with the channel but he wasn’t happy with the scripts and so has decided to quit.
Now anyone in his place would have because Mad In India is not even a patch on to Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Mad In India went on air with great expectations as it marked the comeback to the comedy scene of Sunil Grover who had quit Comedy Nights With Kapil.
One more reason that Manish would have quite Mad In India could be the fact that Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is all set to start post Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5 and Manish would not want to lose out on to the opportunity of being a part of such a prestigious show.
As far as his film career goes, well Mickey Virus fell flat at the Box Office and he is still trying to get that one film which will make him a salable name in Bollywood.
