MUMBAI: When casual appearances by stars results in fashion faux pas. These stars get it completely wrong this week.
Imran Khan: First it was Vidya Balan who came dressed in complete character. And now it’s Imran Khan. The song launch of ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ a recreation of the yesteryear classic ‘Tayyab Ali Pyar Ka Dushman’ was launched at Dongri chawl and Imran kept true to his character in the film. The yellow kurta, black faded jeans, qawwal jacket and topi with the lal ganji looks completely dheela. Bland !
Abhishek Bachchan: Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, with a black sling bag, Abhishek Bachchan paid a visit to his grandmother. He looked more like a Punjabi politician than a super actor.
Prateik Babbar: ‘Issaq’ was being promoted at an event organized by a leading fashion designing institution. But Prateik Babbar in the traditional off-white kurta pyjama, jacket and Kolhapuri chappals nowhere was close to looking like the lead. Lost in translation, the outfit was looking as lost as Prateik Babbar himself.
John Abraham: After featuring in the ‘Best Dressed Men’ category for three consecutive weeks, John Abraham makes an under-rated appearance at his own fitness franchisee launch. Dressed in a beige trousers and off-white t-shirt and black loafers, it did not look that John Abraham is the ‘owner’. Disappointing!
