Tamil actress Jyothika, who bid goodbye to cinema and acting career to settle down with family life in the year 2007 is all set to dazzle the audience with her comeback. Fans of the gorgeous beauty who mourned her absence from cinema are now rejoicing, and the new trailer of her upcoming film 36 Vayadhinile tells us she is back to make some major changes!
36 Vayadhinile is a remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam film How Old Are You? starring Manju Warrier who made her comeback in films as well after a span of 15 years. The makers of the film are maintaining the legacy by roping in yet another south superstar who will mark her comeback. Based on the life of a middle class mother, the film shows the struggle and midlife crisis faced by every housewife in India.
The trailer shows how Jyothika who is 35 years old and soon to turn 36, develops strands of grey hair and is being mocked by everyone for becoming old. Soon after which her family, husband and daughter, the society and everyone else tries to keep her in bonds by telling her she is just a middle class mother with no purpose in life. But Jyothika has big dreams and in the process of following them she sets things right and proves everyone that age is just a number.
The film is easily connectable with and also sends a very good message about environmental sustainability. How Old Are You? saw the story of a aspiring woman who on her own terms creates an entire business of homemade agriculture products promoting Greenhouse Vegetable planting. Jyothika’s 36 Vayadhinile will also portray similar story thus making it more interesting for her fans. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film is all set to release on May 15, 2015.
