After Page 3, Fashion and Heroine, Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar is back with his upcoming film Calendar Girls. After creating anticipation among the audiences with its first teaser, the makers of Calendar Girls have now released film’s first trailer.
The teaser of Calendar Girls earlier gave us a glimpse of what’s in store for us as it introduced us to the five leading ladies in the film. But the film’s trailer finally introduces each one of the five Calendar girls to us perfectly and their stories. In the trailer, we meet Paroma Ghosl from Kolkata, Nazneen Malik from Lahore, Pakistan, Nandita Menon from Hyderabad, Sharon Pinto from Goa and Mayuri Chauhan from Rohtak; five different girls from different places and culture but with one common dream, a dream to become the most famous Calendar girl! With flashing lights and brief look into each character’s life, Calendar Girls’ trailer packs an impact and succeeds in leaving a mark with its dialogues.

After looking at the trailer, there’s no denying the fact that Calendar Girls is going to be yet another “typical” Madhur Bhandarkar film. It has the same kind of aura that director’s rest of the earlier brilliant works had. In the first part of the teaser, we see the flashing lights and the bright smiling faces of the calendar girls. The film is packed with success, failure, lust, fame, crime, seduction, love and betrayal.
The trailer is enough to give a glimpse of the haunting dark story that is attached to each character of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls. Every girl has a different story and the film’s trailer reveals the fact that the film is going to be a tragic roller-coaster ride.
Even though the trailer isn’t all that extraordinary, it succeeded in giving us satisfying chills. In this new Madhur Bhandarkar film, Calendar Girls, we’ll see five actresses, Avani Modi, Satarupa Pyne, Kyra Dutt, Akanksha Puri and Ruhi Singh. The film is all set to hit the theatres in September 25 , 2015.
