MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures has released the trailer of their next ‘Ghanchakkar’ directed by Rajkumar Gupta.
The film, written by Parveez Shaikh and Rajkumar Gupta is an upcoming Bollywood heist comedy featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, Rajesh Sharma and Namit Das.
The trailer begins with Rajesh Sharma and Namit Das demanding money from Emraan Hashmi, who had broken into a bank vault three months ago. The twist?
Emraan survives an accident within those three months which has resulted in a memory loss situation for him. He can’t remember the whereabouts of the money he stole. The more he tries to remember the faster he forgets. His flimsy Punjabi wife, played by Vidya Balan, who loves fashion magazines and dressing up, doesn’t help too much either.
The humour looks promising. The trailer ending with the three men debating on which Khan – Shah Rukh, Salman or Saif starred in ‘Ghajini’, is funny enough.
Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s ‘Ghanchakkar’ promises to be a crazy, quirky, roller-coaster suspense ride that will apparently surprise, shock and entertain you at every turn.
‘Remember Not To Forget’, the film releases on 28 June, 2013.
