MUMBAI: After shooting in Kutch (Gujarat) and Mumbai for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s love tale ‘Ram Leela’, the film’s lead pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now heading to Udaipur for a 10-day shooting schedule when the director, we hear, would shoot some of the most intensely romantic love-scenes between the two.
The already-sizzling camaraderie between these two stars is expected to go up by several notches by the time the Udaipur schedule is over.
I can now reveal that the chemistry we see the two share in real life is a spillover from the intimacy that they share on screen.
Says a source, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shot some sizzling-hot love scenes with Deepika and Ranveer of the kind that neither the director nor his lead pair has ever shot. In fact this sort of passion has never been shown in Hindi cinema.”
When asked to elaborate on the intimacy level that Deepika and Ranveer share in ‘Ram Leela’ the source said, “It is like this. Imagine if the intense passion that Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet were to manifested physically. That is the level of physical passion we’ll get to see between Ranveer and Deepika in ‘Ram Leela’.”
Sources say that the constant physical proximity shared between the couple for the camera has spilt over in to their real life.
“They are seen looking like a real-life couple off camera . You could say it’s Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magic at work. He has created such a believable illusion of mutual passion that Ranveer and Deepika remain trapped in their on-screen passion even when they are not shooting for the film,” says the source.
Just where the mutual passion would reach after the Udaipur schedule is anyone’s guess.
