The legend Amitabh Bachchan himself called his contestants’ win ‘exemplary’ accolading brothers Achin and Sarthak Narula who were named the first contestants to win the highest prize till date, of Rs 7 crore, on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati‘, which is hosted by the megastar himself.

The Delhi brothers passed through the tough time of answering all the 14 questions correctly with the help of four lifelines, and won a whole sum of Rs 7 crore.
Achin works as a marketing manager while Sarthak is a student. Achin worked hard towards being a part of the show since the last 10 years but always fell short of being selected for the fastest finger first contest. And when he came, he did not just be another participant, but be the ont to create history by receiving the highest sum till date on the show!

Senior Bachchan inklinged about the big win on his official blog and Twitter account while posting his pictures from the show. He wrote, “It is a topsy turvy world tonight and KBC is the one that needs to be blamed!! What incredible moments, what brilliance and what an incredible play..! That is all I am permitted to say.

“There was a mission in the manner in which they approached the game. Right from the start, they went about it in a manner that was simply exemplary. They used up all their lifelines, but they had the answer even before they asked for help,” the host of KBC for 14 years posted on his blog.
“The beauty and the excitement of KBC at its very maximum! Just an incredible moment,” Bachchan tweeted, followed by a photograph from the sets posing with the winner contestants. And then he posted “Bazuumbaaa,” along with the image embellished with the Rupee symbol.

The brothers were in a lookout to gather some money for providing the fees required for the treatment of their mother who suffers from ovarian cancer.
The legendary superstar has shifted his focus from films to TV for a while, and was seen voicing for Mahabharat of 2013 last. He now hosts his famous show KBC, an Indian adaptation of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.
