Preity Zinta was seen attending a screening of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bang Bang’ on Tuesday and before the movie started the Indian national anthem Jana Gana Mana was played.
The usually bubbly actress Preity Zinta reportedly got upset when a fellow viewer did not stand up in honor of the national anthem.
She then asked the man politely to stand up as an honour of respect, for many have given up their lives for our nation. But the man adamantly refused.

Apparently, this got Preity Zinta miffed with his refusal and the actress took a drastic step. Being a respected celebrity and citizen, she got the man thrown out of the theatre with the help of some authorities.
She later even tweeted about the incident on her Twitter page, saying: “#bangbang be4 Bang Bang! Had2 throw a guy out of the Theater as he refused 2stand up4 our National Anthem! Can u believe it? Now movie time. — Preity Zinta (@realpreityzinta) October 7, 2014.”
In the time she was watching the movie, somehow, things got worse than she might have ever thought.
Altogether, the actress later deleted her this Twitter post, reason probably being because her action did not go down well with a certain section of people.
Although the actress deleted her post, she‘s facing flak from some twitteratis.
Maybe her innocent attempt to improve the population’s personality will taunt her for a long time now.
Preity Zinta is a good friend of Hrithik Roshan. They worked together from Mission Kashmir to Koi Mil Gaya and Krissh.
