Zee TV has come up with a new comedy show, Gangs of Haseepur, to entertain the viewers in this political atmosphere.
Actress and popular television host Mandira Bedi and former Bigg Boss contestant Tanishaa Mukerji are all geared up to judge the new comedy show Gangs Of Haseepur.
The film has nothing to do with it Anurag Kashyap’s gangster film, Gangs Of Wasseypur.
Gangs Of Haseepur is a comedy show, which will reflect what’s happening in our country. Election related issues like inflation, lack of trust in the politicians and such other topics will form the basis of humour on the show.
Currently quite a few comedy shows such as Comedy Nights With Kapil are ruling the small screen, but Mandira Bedi feels Gangs Of Haseepur stands apart and can’t be compared to them.
“It has pure stand-up comedy, varied characters are there, sketches and skits,” she added. “It not only has stand-up comedy, but a lot of other stuff and variety. There is something for everybody,” she said.
Produced by Essel Vision Productions, Gangs Of Haseepur, will be hosted by actress Ragini Khanna and several popular stand-up comedians like Raju Srivastav, Bharti Singh, Suresh Menon and Krushna Abhishek will be seen performing in it.
Gangs of Haseepur, is set to go on air on April 26, 2014 on Zee TV.
