MUMBAI: It may be some time before we see Aamir Khan and Salman Khan together in a sequel to ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, but recently Salman Khan forged another connection between Aamir and himself.
Salman Khan said that he would not mind hosting ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in case Aamir Khan became busy and passed on a season. He said this jokingly but we couldn’t help wonder what a Salman Khan-hosted ‘Satyamev Jayate’ would look like.
On the show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, so far Aamir Khan has had a strong and imposing presence, but stoic and emotional at the same time.
Salman Khan has his own style that is peculiar to him and the producers of the show could take advantage of that.
Salman Khan’s loud dramatic style, funny facial expressions and odd stage antics may seem out of place but could possibly help to tackle issues with a lighter tone. Now remember that, just because a lighter tone is adopted, it does not mean that the problem is less important and we’re sure Salman Khan would ensure that.
We’re not sure how long Aamir Khan wants to continue hosting ‘Satyamev Jayate’. After all, it’s his baby and he takes care of everything on that show. But if he ever feels like taking a break, we’re absolutely up for Salman Khan taking over.
