It was a sight to be withheld. Bollywood Bengali beauties Rani Mukerji, Sushmita Sen and Bipasha Basu on one stage!
The event in question, which brought the Bengali ladies together, was the 19th edition of the Kolkata International Film Festival, held in Kolkata over the weekend. Along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Bollywood brigade of Bengali ladies made their presence felt. Khuba bhāla!
Dressed in a sunset orange and fuchsia pink rich silk sari, the very beautiful and now very reticent Rani Mukherjee was the highlight of the event. Rani went for a classic look, with jet black straight hair and stunningly elegant jewelry.
On the other hand, Sushmita went traditional in the whole nine yards, in a simple red net sari and a full sleeved matching crimson blouse. But perhaps Bipasha kept her date with Bengal most suitably, in a typical Bengali sari, replete with a big red bindi!
Also present at the closing day of Kolkata International Film Festival were Mousumi Chatterjee (of Manzil fame) and Koel Mullick.
