2 States has managed to collect Rs 25 million (Rs 2.5 crore) nett on its second Monday taking its business to over Rs 765 million (Rs 76.5 crore) nett approximately thus beating the newly released films; Revolver Rani, Kaanchi and Samrat & Co. at the Box Office.

While Kangana Ranaut’s Revolver Rani and Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi have managed to collected approximately Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore) nett and Rs 5 million (Rs 50 lakhs) nett respectively on day four.

The total four days collection for Revolver Rani has been approximately Rs 75 million (Rs 7.5 crore) nett and that of Kaanchi has been Rs 27.5 million (Rs 2.75 crore) nett. Talking about the third release, Samrat & Co., well the film has been a wash out at the Box Office with no hope what so ever.

Everyone was expecting Revolver Rani to pick up inspite of a slow start but then the film has not been able to get the love of the audiences as expected and looks like it would be a loss making venture.

One cannot forget the fact that Revolver Rani had an edge over Queen as it was being released post the success of Queen and Revolver Rani was released in around fifteen thousand screens, nearly double the number of Queen, but then looks like Revolver Rani would be no where be even close to Queen as far as Box Office figures are concern.

However there has been no stopping for 2 States and the film is rock stead at the Box Office. The film is sweet and simple and has a huge repeat value. Post the success of 2 States one can without any doubt say that both Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have arrived.

Now it remains to be seen whether 2 States will cross the 100 crore mark or even beat the Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho’s collection to be the highest earning movies at the Box Office of 2014.
