Well you have head it right; Vidya Balan has opted out of Sujoy Ghosh‘s Durga Rani Singh due to health issues. From the past few months, there has been too much talk about Vidya Balan being pregnant. Well the actress very clearly says that she is not ready for motherhood.
Vidya Balan is fed up of her pregnancy rumours and stated that she will have children in the near future.
“Inshallah, I will have a baby but not so soon. I’m not mentally ready for motherhood yet. It’s a daunting task to be responsible for another human being.” stated Vidya, how looked annoyed with all that being talked about.
Currently she is having niggling health issues that she is trying to sort out and that was the soul reason she had to say no to Sujoy Ghosh.
“It was not an easy decision. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, I couldn’t believe what I was saying. But I had a valid reason. In our industry, health is the last priority but I couldn’t afford to neglect mine any further. If Mohit Suri’s Hamari Adhuri Kahani had started in March according to the original schedule, I would have opted out of that film too.” stated Vidya Balan in a leading tabloid.
Vidya is very upbeat about Hamari Adhuri Kahani that is expected to go on floor in October/November 2014. The main reason she took up this film was the fact that Mahesh Bhatt has written a script after fourteen years.
On the personal front too things are looking good. Vidya Balan, who married producer Siddharth Roy Kapur has certainly changed her tastes. Her once well known passion for South Indian food has disappeared.
Vidya, has now reportedly found new culinary cravings for all things Punjabi. Of late Vidya Balan has been searching for a North Indian cook. Her taste now favours rajma-chawal, chole-bhature, and all other Punjabi food delicacies.
Here’s wishing Vidya Balan all the best and we do hope that she gets all her heath issues sorted out as soon as possible.
