Shreyas Talpade was spotted shooting for a promotional song for his upcoming film Poshter Boyz.

Speaking about the song, the Shreyas Talpade said, “This is a peppy number which will attract youth, a bit quirky and a bit peppy. We want maximum number of people to like it so that they get to know about the film and come to watch the film when it gets released”.

The song will feature Shreyas himself. Originally it was to be shot with the film’s three leading actors Dilip Prabhavalkar, Aniket Vishwasrao and Hrishikesh Joshi.

“I was sitting with my producer Deepti Talpade, co-producer Hadi Ali Abrar and director Sameer Patil when this (idea of item song) came up. Initially I was a bit reluctant but my team was convinced that my presence in the video will increase its reach, so I gave in,” Shreyas said.

The promotional number is also the title track of the film. Composed by legendary singer-composer Leslie Lewis the song has a mix of traditional Marathi rhythm and the modern sound. The song also has Marathi rap sequence in it and it will be released soon online for general public.

Poshter Boyz has been directed by Sameer Patil and also stars Pooja Sawant and Neha Joshi among others.

Poshter Boyz, which is the second film under his production banner, is set to release on July 04, 2014.
