The Gallant, Alluring Madhuri Dixit’s Blissful Journey

Born to a Marathi Brahmin family in Mumbai, Madhuri dreamed to be a microbiologist, stardom happened to her by chance. She debuted in the year 1984 with Rajshri Productions Abodh, She procured stardom after series of consecutive flops at the box office with the movie Tezaab which earned her huge accolades.

The vivid actress is still remembered for her performances she delivered in Movies Saajan, Beta, Ram-Lakhan, Hum Aap Ke Hai Kaun, Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Devdas. She remains to be the only actress having a maximum number of Nominations at the Filmfare Awards, a record still unbraced.

The lovely actress has her statue at Madame Tussauds Museum in London, the Museum also houses statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan.

The pretty actress once had fallen for Bollywood’s bad guy Sanjay Dutt. Apparently their fondness for each other grew on the sets of Saajan. The slander didn’t go down well, as Madhuri‘s parents did not approve of their alleged relationship.

Beautiful Madhuri Dixit is now married to Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, a Denver based cardiovascular surgeon. The couple got married in the year 1999 and since then they lead an elated married life. Madhuri is also a proud mother of Arin and Raayan.

The prowess lady is been honoured with Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award by the government of India. And the list of her achievements are endless.

After a long sabbatical, she returned to Bollywood with her movie Aaja Nachle in the year 2006, and her fans welcomed her with open arms.

The Diva is a muse of famous painter M.F Hussain, the proficient painter who was so mesmerised by Madhuri‘s charm, that he had booked an entire theatre to watch the Heroine’s comeback film Aaja Nachle.

Very few know the fact that Madhuri is also a philanthropist. In 2001, Dixit won rupees 50 Lakhs on the famous reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati and she gallantly directed all her money to the welfare of victims of earthquake in Gujarat and to an orphanage in Pune.  She is also the brand ambassador and patron for Emeralds For Elephant, a cause to save the Asian Elephants and endangered species.

Her facial expressions, body language and on-screen presence are matchless. Most of today’s female stars can only dream of acquiring the acting skills and the stardom that Madhuri had in her days. She’s got amazing comic timing, a convincing dramatic ability and mastery over dialogue delivery.

The dauntless, magnanimous and Charismatic Madhuri Dixit Nene turns a year old today and we wish her a very Happy Birthday.
