MUMBAI: After Mughal-E-Azam, B R Chopra’s Naya Daur evergreen classic will be re-release in coloured version with high-tech dolby digital surround sound.
Naya Daur was released in 1957 and starred had Dilip Kumar, Vyjayanthimala, Ajit, Chand Usmani, Jeevan, Nasir Hussain and Manmohan Krishna. O.P. Nayyar had provided the musical composition.
Ravi Chopra confirmed the development, saying. “The coloured version of Naya Daur is ready for release. Within a couple of days, we will announce the date of release and also the number of prints. The colour processing has taken a long time with every frame of the movie being coloured using the latest technology.”
This will be Dilip Kumar’s second film to be released in coloured version.
