Kaththi (literally meaning the knife) is the huge south opening movie which added to Tamil actor Vijay‘s fame. The movie was the fastest Tamil movie to reach the 100-crore mark, such was the impact of the movie on people!
Soon after its success, Kaththi was said to be remade. While earlier reports suggested that Akshay Kumar was eager to remake the sequel, we now receive news through the ultimate director A.R. Murugadoss, who posted on his official twitter account that it might actually be the Partner miraculous duo Salman Khan and Govinda who be a part of the remake, and that it was Salman Khan‘s eagerness to make a remake that got Murugadoss to reach Salman Khan‘s doorstep.

But we also wonder what made Salman Khan and Govinda get together after a gap of around 4 years. Although there was news that the duo are working together for Partner 2, we still do not see any development in the same. But we are glad that both the entertaining actors agreed to share the same screen atleast!

Interestingly, Neil Nitin Mukesh, who has worked for Bollywood through many films like Johnny Gaddar and New York was a part of the original south movie as a villain.
The south blockbuster could not be made unless it had 2 powerful actors in them, and we totally think Govinda and Salman Khan both being experienced and commercially-successful actors, they will give the movie a major boost and we are already excited to see the duo back together after they created magic in Partner and many other movies together.
