Although it has not yet been confirmed, talks of Priyanka Chopra starring in Prakash Jha’s “Gangaajal 2” has already started. “Gangaajal 2” is one of Bollywood’s most anticipated movies, and naturally everyone wants to see who are the actors playing the lead characters.
Priyanka who is currently shooting for “Bajirao Mastani” also has “Dil Dhadakne Do” and Madamji in her kitty. This year is already very exciting for all PC fans and with talks of her starring in “Gangajaal 2” the excitement level has exceeded all levels.

Reports suggest, the “Barfi!” actress is being considered to play the lead role in the movie. The original “Gangaajal” starred Ajay Devgn and Gracy Singh playing the lead characters who were protagonists. Sources say that for the this film, director Prakash Jha is looking for a female to play the lead role.

Prakash Jha who is well known for his socio-political movies, wanted a female protagonist unlike the original role played by Ajay Devgn.
Priyanka Chopra’s spokesperson confirmed the news and stated, “As paperwork is still under process, we cannot comment on it at the moment.”
Because of Priyanka’s bold performances in previous movies like, ”Mary Kom” “Fashion”, “7 khoon Maaf” she is the best choice for a movie like “Gangaajal 2”.
