Bollywood’s Zombie Comedy Go Goa Gone, starring Saif Ali Khan, will be releasing in Japan on March 21. Japan’s growing love for Indian films has encouraged Ero International to release Go Goa Gone.
“The Japanese market has shown a fair appetite for Indian films. After the successful outings of our previous movies in Japan, we hope the demand for Indian films there continues and these new releases enjoy a successful run too,” said Kumar Ahuja, President, Business Development, Eros International Media Ltd, the film’s distributor.
Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, Go Goa Gone also featured Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Puja Gupta and Anand Tiwari.
Only recently, Shah Rukh Khan‘s Happy New Year enjoyed a good run at Japan Box Office. Not only that, but Eros’ films like Om Shanti Om, Robot, English Vinglish also were well received by the audiences in Japan. Go Goa Gone was released in May 2013, in India and was loved by the Indian audiences. The film did well at the Box Office, too.
