Watch: Aamir Khan On Anushka Sharma’s NH10 Censor Board Controversy

Anushka-Aamir-NH!0During the trailer launch of Shonali BoseMargarita, With a Straw, actor Aamir Khan was questioned on the Censor Board controversies relating to certification of Anushka Sharma’s NH10.

Actress Anushka Sharma would be going to high court as Censor Board has asked to ban the cuss words and will be appealing to it. The film has been denied for the certification of the film.

On this issue Aamir Khan said, “Yes, it is rather unusual. I am also surprised to hear that the film has been denied certification which something extremely unusual and unprecedented”.

All of us who believe in freedom of speech should come together. I am not in the favour of censorship; I am in the favour of rating system. Adults in our country need not to be told or need to be kept away from them, they themselves would chose to what see and what not”, he added.

Aamir Khan was asked about his recent comments on AIB Roast. He said, “See, I think you talk about this film today. I think you’ll get many opportunities to ask me on AIB Roast and whatever I have answered, you must have read”.

Well talking about the movie, Margarita, with a straw is a story based on homosexual woman suffering from cerebral palsy directed by director Sonali Bose starring Kalki Koechlin. With Kalki’s brilliant performance and Shonali’s heart touching storytelling through direction the film leaves the audience speechless. The film is set to release on April 17 in India.
