Confirmed: Shah Rukh Khan And Kajol To Reunite In Rohit Shetty's Dilwale

Its Official, people! After a lot of wait, we will finally get to see Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol romance with each other and share screen space again, that too in Rohit Shetty’s much anticipated upcoming film Dilwale. And no, this is no rumour. Director of the film Rohit Shetty himself confirmed the news!

The moment Rohit Shetty made the announcement that his upcoming film starred SRK, a lot of speculations and rumours about who he was to be paired with, started to make its round all over the Internet. Finally, Rohit Shetty came forward and broke the ice. Thank you, Rohit, for doing that!

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty put the rumours on rest by revealing in an interview on his birthday, (March 14), that he has paired SRK with Kajol. He said, “So much has been said regarding the casting of this film, and about many films that I’m not even making, so Shah Rukh and I decided that I should put it out there officially. I’ve paired Shah Rukh with Kajol.”

The film also stars Badlapur star Varun Dhawan and Heropanti actress Kriti Sanon. Rohit also officially declared that his upcoming film isn’t a remake of Hum (1991). Dilwali will be produced by Red Chillies and will be released during Christmas. The movie will go on floors by the end of March, and Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for the film somewhere around June.
