The actress who turned a year older yesterday, Kangana Ranaut has another reason to rejoice! Kangana, who won hearts with her amazing performance as Rani in Vikas Bahl‘s Queen has bagged the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Queen. This is Kangana’s second National Award. Earlier, Kangana won National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her brilliant performance in Madhur Bhandarkar‘s film Fashion.

Not only that, but Kangana‘s film Queen won Best Hindi film at the National Awards. Whereas Priyanka Chopra starrer film Mary Kom was named Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 62nd National Film Awards. Shahid Kapoor‘s most acclaimed film Haider won Best Choreography and Music Direction awards.
Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan‘s role as a ghost in Bhootnath Returns received a special mention. The winners will receive their National Awards on May 3 by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjeein Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Also, at the ceremony, Bollywood’s Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor will receive his Dadasahed Phalke Award.
