Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has planned to make a Bollywood remake of ‘Boyhood‘, which is Richard Linklater’s Oscar winning Hollywood film.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan has planned to launch his elder son Aryan for the remake of Boyhood. SRK is in talks with makers to acquire rights of the film’s to remake in India, which will serve as the launch pad for his elder son Aryan Khan.
According to the reports, Aryan loved Richard Linklater’s ‘Boyhood‘, he was quite impressed and suggested the idea to his dad Shah Rukh Khan.
It would be debut of Aryan and reportedly, it will also star Shah Rukh Khan’s younger and adorable son AbRam in the remake movie.
According to reports, Aryan watched it and was so impressed that he called up SRK from London and asked him to watch the film.
SRK has initiated the talks with the filmmakers of ‘Boyhood’ for taking the rights to make the remake of it.
Boyhood is a 2014 American independent coming-of-age drama film, written and directed by Richard Linklater, and starring Patricia Arquette, Ellar Coltrane, Lorelei Linklater, and Ethan Hawke. Shot intermittently from 2002 to 2013 (12 years), Boyhood depicts the adolescence of Mason Evans, Jr. (Coltrane) from ages six to eighteen (12 years) as he grows up in Texas with divorced parents (Arquette and Hawke).

Probably Aryan would be seen playing Ellar Coltrane’s role, while SRK may portray Ethan Hawke‘s character in the remake.
