MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM has commenced its operation now in Kolhapur to the sound of ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ anthem. After going on air here, Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) – Radio Mirchi will roll out nine more radio stations by the end of this year.
Radio Mirchi, currently present in 22 cities, broadcasts on a common frequency of 98.3 FM across the country. In the last two months Radio Mirchi has launched stations in Patna, Jalandhar Goa, Bhopal, Vadodara, Kanpur, Rajkot, Varanasi, Nashik, Lucknow, Surat and Aurangabad.

Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM will broadcast a mix of shows including Hello Kolhapur, a breakfast show; Khoobsurat, for the women of today; Total Filmi, for the latest Bollywood gossip; Bumper to Bumper, for the latest buzz in city happenings, business and stock update, sports etc, Club Mirchi, for Complete dance masti with latest hindi remix; Purani Jeans for retro music and Dil Chahta Hai, which caters to youth of Kolhapur, will have campus talks, canteen gossip and dedication.
Other special weekend shows includes Sunday Ko Shut-up. In this show the listeners can listen to there favorite songs back to back without any jock talk.
