The latest motion poster of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma‘s upcoming film Bombay Velvet is finally out. The lead stars of Anurag Kashyap‘s much anticipated film look absolutely sizzling in the motion poster. The picture has a vintage feel to it and surprisingly reminds us of Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan‘s Bang Bang poster. Don’t you think?

Only recently we saw Raveena Tandon‘s look from the film and finally the motion poster of Bombay Velvet is revealed. The video starts with Anushka‘s character Rosie Noronha singing ‘Mohabbat Buri Bimari‘ with sounds of gunshots firing in the background. The bullet holes leave a perfect heart shaped mark behind Ranbir and Anushka. In the poster, Ranbir poses with a gun on his right hand and Anushka on the left, with an intense expression on his face. PK actress Anushka flaunts her perfectly toned back in a backless golden blue gown.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is story about a man who sets out fighting all the odds just to fulfil his dream of becoming a big shot in the city. Based on Gyan Prakash book called Mumbai Fables, the film is a story of how a man’s dream becomes every man’s nightmare. Set in early 1960’s in Bombay, Ranbir will play a character  named Johnny Balraj, a boxer, whereas Anushka will play the role of an aspiring singer named Rosie.

Student of The Year director Karan Johar will be making his full fledged acting debut with this film. He’ll be seen playing a negative role in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. The film will hit theatres on May 15, 2015.
