MUMBAI: The Indian Film Company Ltd has appointed to new members to the board of its investment manager, BK Enterprises Limited. The new appointments are that of Nicolas Rene Meyer and Amit Jain as directors (both being nominees of Viacom, Inc.).
Additionally, TV18 Group’s Haresh Chawla and Sanjeev Manchanda have also been made directors.
The Indian Film Company chairman of the board Shyam Benegal said, “We are delighted that Mr. Nicolas Meyer, Mr. Amit Jain, Mr. Haresh Chawla and Mr. Sanjeev Manchanda have joined the investment manager to The Indian Film Company, they bring a wealth of experience and will significantly strengthen the Investment Manager’s Board. We are confident that they will be major assets to the Investment Manager and thereby to the company. The board is preparing for the company’s next phase and we look forward to the times ahead.”
