Ever since the talk about the remake of the 1989 hit film Ram Lakhan has taken place, the audience can hardly wait for its inception. With more and more remakes making rounds these days, Ram Lakhan is also highly anticipated by audience.

However after the announcement of the remake took place, many reports about the star cast of the film are doing whereabouts. If reports are to be believed then the central characters of the film which were played by Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in the prequel will be played by actors Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the sequel.

The prequel of the film Ram Lakhan was helmed by showman of Bollywood director Subhash Ghai. If speculations are true then the remake of Ram Lakhan will be a joint venture between Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. After reports about Varun and Sidharth playing the key heroes, rumors about the leading lady of the film have also started making rounds.

It is being said that ABCD 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor is being considered for the role of Madhuri Dixit Nene in the sequel. Newbie Shraddha who has impressed everyone with her amazing acting skills with her film ABCD 2 is all set to play Madhuri’s character in the film. Before Shraddha, actress Alia Bhatt was also rumored to be considered for the same role.
