Box Office: Baahubali Opens To Good Occupancy Rate On Day One

BaahubaliBy far, Baahubali is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and after a long wait, the first part of the film has finally hit the theatres! Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, Baahubali released today and the film opened to a really good start at the Box Office. Released in four different languages, Baahulbali is running houseful in most of the places. The film opened to a 50% occupancy rate approx. at the Box Office.

If compared to its Hindi dubbed version, Tamil and Telugu are doing far better business at the Box Office in places like Delhi, Gurgaon, South and Mumbai. However, the Hindi version’s being well received by the audiences, too. In 2015, Baahubali has become one of the few films to receive such a massive response at the Box Office. Going by the response, we can expect the film to gross Rs. 15 to 25 crore net approx. at the Box Office on its first day itself. If the film continues to get the same amount of response throughout the weekend, then it will surely become one of the few films released in 2015 to do a good business at the Box Office.

The film’s extraordinary trailer, story line and graphics have played a very important role in attracting the audiences. The action drama film, Baahubali is so far the most expensive film ever made in India! Directed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film is made on a BIG budget of Rs. 250 Crores. The film’s trailer has already impressed everyone and proved that the money was indeed put in the right place!

Showing some of the finest graphics we have ever seen, Baahubali’s trailer tells the story of an epic war between two brothers to become the ruler of their kingdom. The trailer takes us through the entire journey of main character called Baahubali, who is worshipped as a demigod.

Srinivas Mohan and Sabu Cyril have supervised the amazing visual effects and designed art of the film respectively.
