Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been promoting her upcoming movie ‘Tamasha’ without Ranbir Kapoor. At a recent song promotion, Deepika was joined by Ranbir through Skype since he is in London shooting for Karan Johar’s next directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
During the event, Karan Johar decided to drop in. He joined Deepika and Ranbir during the media interaction. Both Karan and Deepika exchanged pleasantaries and said that they had missed each other. Karan jokingly said, “Jawani Deewani Bajirao Mastani. How have you been?” Now was the time when Ranbir kept mum and Karan and Deepika were pulling each other’s leg. Both Deepika and Karan exchanged pleasantries and got on to pulling each other’s leg. That is when Deepika asked Karan to host the event like ‘Koffee with Karan’. To this Karan had a witty reply, “Well, you know that is what I do for a living. Direction is just a hobby. Hosting is my top profession.”

To this Deepika replied, “You have to do a Koffee With Karan with Ranbir and me. Never before, never again.” Karan had a witty answered prepared for this. He said, “Ranbir refuses to come on Koffee With Karan. He says he gets into too much trouble because of somebody sitting on stage.” Ranbir didn’t speak at all and Deepika was just blushing. Deepika then admitted, “You never invited us together, Karan”.
Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ has been a hot favourite talk show with both the audience and the media, reason being that one gets to know the spiciest gossip about the celebrity and Bollywood on the show. While a lot of couples have come together on the show, Ranbir and Deepika have never made an appearance together. The show did spark some controversies when Deepika had made her debut on the show with Sonam Kapoor and had said some mocked Ranbir.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to see the ex-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor on the show together and hear some juicy stories? While we wait for that to happen, everyone can watch this couple in ‘Tamasha’ that releases on 27th November 2015.
