MUMBAI: Following up on T-Series considering IPRS norms, the music major has buckled up to all those who have been violating the non disputed fact of acquiring licenses on a regular basis.
HMJ Hima Kohli end law on 11.04.2008 on an appeal by T-Series on Asianet for consideration and injunction, after hearing both parties at length granted an ex-parte injunction, thereby restraining Asianet from broadcasting and telecasting T-Series contents in any manner whatsoever till the next date 22 January, 2009. K.K. Khetan and M/s Anand and Anand, advocates represented T-Series in this issue.
T-Series creative director Divya Khosla Kumar says, "We have always been a serious player in this industry and to make music work among the masses, it is important that it makes money for the music companies who invest so much on songs and on filming the songs. At T-Series, it is always a no-expense spared effort hence, we come down strongly on pirates and we would not be able to comment on it."
It may be recalled that last year T-Series also filed an injunction against Mee Marathi for unlawful music telecast.
