MUMBAI: After being by his father’s side, Fardeen Khan is back with a bang with four releases this year. Looking rested and rejuvenated, FK, as he is popularly called by his friends is gearing up for his first release of the year with Life Partner.
Looking great in a pink shirt, the actor tells Businessofcinema.com, "People thought that I have no films and I that I have been sitting at home. But the truth is that I have been shooting a lot. My first release is Life Partner. Then I have Suparn Varma’s Acid Factory, which has been produced by Sanjay Gupta’s banner, followed by Ajay Devgan produced All the Best – Fun Unlimited that is directed by Rohit Shetty and finally Mudassar Aziz’ Dulhaa Mil Gaya, which is produced by Viveck Vaswani."
These films are varied and provide the actor a mixed bag to offer his fans. FK adds, "As an actor I am enjoy trying out various genres of films. The films that are being made today have no definition of a stereo typed hero."
His latest release is Rumi Jaffrey’s Life Partner. An ensemble cast, Fardeen enjoyed the company of his romantic lead, Genelia. But ask him, if he looks better with Genelia than Imran, he is quick to duck that question.
The boy has matured. Fardeen Khan, the rather bashful yet very naughty boy has grown up to be the man of the family. The sparkling twinkle is still present, but is coated with a wisdom that speaks about life’s experiences that has been literally shoved upon him, with the ailment and subsequent passing away of his father. This man now looks poised to take himself and his career more seriously than he ever did.
