MUMBAI: Salman Khan has been overdoing it for some time now. The actor has been interacting with the media first for the promotion of Wanted, then Main Aurr Mrs Khanna and then his charity foundation, Being Human. The actor has finally decided to take a break till the end of the month.
A friend close to the actor who often travels with him, tells Businessofcinema.com, "Salman has been keeping very busy promoting his films. Since June, he has been occupied with the show, Dus Ka Dum. The popularity of the show saw the channel extending the show by a further 13 weeks. Now he has decided to put everything on the back burner and take a break for ten odd days."
Once he’s back from the break Khan will start promoting his forthcoming film London Dreams. He will be going to Kolkata to perform live at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium this Friday to launch his upcoming film London Dreams. He was earlier supposed to perform live at Kolkata’s Mohammedan Sporting Club on 26 September but it got cancelled.
Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah said, "Yes, Salman is going to Kolkata to honour a stage commitment and will promote London Dreams."
Salman confirmed, "I have to again start interacting with the media for my next film, London Dreams." Starring Ajay Devgn and Asin along with Salman, London Dreams is a big budget film and the director of the film, Vipul Shah had said, "I will have to plan a different promotional campaign for my films as Ajay and Salman have used every medium to promote their respective films, All the Best and Main Aur Mrs Khanna."
Word is out that Vipul Shah will be planning musical shows across the country as his film is based on the underground music scene in London. He has got the go-ahead from both the actors, which would mean that Khan will be on the road once again, living out of a suitcase until London Dreams is released. For a man who hates being in the media spotlight, Khan has been living it up and wooing the media for some time now.
