MUMBAI: Percept Picture Company and Rising Star Entertainment have inked a four-film deal. The first film under the association will be Allah Ke Bandey, which is directed by Faruk Kabir and is scheduled to release on 22 October, 2010.
Allah Ke Banday stars Sharman Joshi, Naseeruddin Shah, Faruk Kabir and Atul Kulkarni. It is directed by Faruk Kabir. Percept Pictures has acquired exclusive worldwide marketing and distribution of the film across all platforms.
The second film is titled Bhopal and stars Misha Bartan, Martin Sheen, Kal Penn, Rajpal Yadav, Tannishtha Chatterjee and has been directed by Ravi Kumar.
Rising Star Entertainment and Percept will also be producing an untitled horror film starring R Madhavan, which will be directed by E Niwas. Plans are to make this movie in three languages.
Another untitled project under this partnership will be directed by Faruk Kabir and will be ready for release in September, 2011.
