MUMBAI: The Mumbai territory rights of the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham have been acquired by Ramesh Sippy’s Raksha Entertainment for approximately Rs 117 million (Rs 11.70 crore).
The movie is a remake of the hit Tamil film by the same name and is being directed by Rohit Shetty.
Singham is being produced by Reliance Entertainment and is scheduled for release on 22 July. Apart from Devgn, the movie also stars debutant Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj.
