MUMBAI: After having celebrity brand endorsers like Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, Linc is now eyeing the film production space under the banner Linc Entertainment.
The company is looking at producing two – three films every year. The first movie under the new banner is titled Shakal Pe Mat Ja and is being produced in collaboration with Ipix Movies, headed by co-producer and line producer Hrishitaa Bhatt.
Linc Entertainment director Saritaa Jalan said, “The art of film-making has always fascinated us. Linc has always believed in making great products, which is what we want to pursue for Linc Entertainment as well. The key driver would be excellent cost effective films, reaching out to maximum audience through best marketing & distribution platforms.”
Shakal Pe Mat Ja is slated to release on 23 September and is based on true story of four young boys who get caught up as suspected terrorists at the Delhi international airport, while capturing an aircraft landing, on their handycam. The story then turns crazy when they are interrogated by the officials ensuring that every moment is a crazy laugh riot.
The film stars Saurabh Shukla, Raghubir Yadav, Aamna Sharif, Umang Jain, Shubh, Chitrak, Pratik and Harsh. Salim-Suleman have composed the music.
