After Uri terror attack, it seems, the world of entertainment has to face the brunt. After political parties threatened to ban Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees for having Pakistani artistes in the film, Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman of the Zee media Network and Rajya Sabha MP has tweeted that Zee will stop telecasting programs from Pakistan.
He tweeted, “unfortunate stance of Mia Sharif at UN. Zee is considering stopping Zindgi programs from Pak,as well artists from there should leave.”
Zee’s Zindagi is a Hindi-Urdu channel telecasts content from Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey. One of the popular shows on the channel is Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
Well, just after few days of Uri Attack in which 18 Indian soldiers died, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has asked Pakistani actors to leave India within 48 hours. Amey Khopkar of MNS Chitrapat Sena has reportedly threatened that if Pakistani artists are not leaving the country within 48 hours, they will put them out. Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Imran Abbas and Mawra Hocane are among who have been asked to leave the country.
