MUMBAI: Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Housefull 2’, having an ensemble cast of 12 stars, took a good first day, raking in approximately Rs 137.5 million (Rs 13.75 crores) net in collections.

The most business came from multiplexes in North India and Central India. Business collections were expected to be in the range of Rs 150 to 160 million (Rs 15 to 16 crores) net, but the clashing of the IPL matches led to lower figures.

In spite of mixed reviews, the film has managed a good first day collections but the weekend result will finally determine the success of the  film… Stay tuned for more.
